Beware of Tenant Harassment
Pros
Location and rent price.
Cons
-Tenant harassment: The landlord will go into the apartment at random times when tenant is not home without the tenant's knowledge just to snoop. -Smell of mold in the bedroom (east and south side). -Leak onto the east bedroom floor when raining very heavily (see above). -Disruption of "quite and enjoyment of the dwelling" (see above: tenant harassment). There are more cons. The list goes on.
Advice to the owners
Never go into the tenant's apartment without their knowledge! It's against the law! As per NYS law, 24 hours notice or a phone call (leave a voicemail if tenant does not pick up) must be given with the exception of an emergency!
