Building will try to charge you the most random fees
Pros
Building staff is amazing (maintenance, not the office staff. They’re really difficult) and apartments are thoughtfully designed. Love that the building is pet friendly without any additional pet rent or fees. Maintenance is super responsive. Usually your request is taken care of within 24 hours.
Cons
There’s currently a lawsuit being filed against the building accusing the building of a rent concession scheme, so that’s how skeevy we feel the management is, and every little thing costs money in this building. They will try to charge you illegal fees as additional rent relying on the fact it’s cheaper for you to just pay the random fee than to go to court for it.
Advice to the owners
No one wants to rent the shitty shoebox studio for $3400. You gotta be real. Also, stop charging tenants for sneezing.
