Beautiful building, awesome amenities, great staff, (some) snobby neighbors
Pros
- Doormen, porters, maintenance team are awesome! - Beautiful roof deck - Nice, never-too-crowded gym - Spacious, updated, high-end apartments (+ in unit laundry) - Little-to-no noise from neighbors - Proximity to the Hudson River and greenway - Surprisingly reasonable lease renewal rent increase - Each unit has a different layout, so it doesn't feel cookie cutter - Dog friendly!
Cons
- Price..you're paying for all the pros and the location! ($10k for an interior-facing 1br with additional, open upstairs loft space that can operate as a den/office) - Many of the residents act entitled and snobby, so I haven't loved the vibes - Dog friendliness of building is pro and con; many owners let their dogs pee right outside the entrance, and the maintenance team cleans it multiple times a day, but it still often smells like pee - Roof deck is closed for 4-5 months of the year (winter)
Advice to the owners
Keep doing what you're doing! Nicest building I've ever lived in, and the staff is amazing. Not sure you can't help how some of the residents act 🤷🏻♀️
