What does “recommended-by-renters” mean on this buildings page?

It’s a renter-focused signal drawn from what tenants have shared on Openigloo for the building. Use it to prioritize which buildings to investigate further, then confirm details directly with the landlord or management.

How should I use the B15 bus filter when comparing buildings?

Treat it as a location convenience filter. Still check exact walking time from the building to the stop you’d use most, since blocks and entrances can affect daily commute time.

Are these buildings only for people who use the B15 bus?

No. The filter narrows by proximity to the B15 corridor and the renter-recommended signal. You can still compare transit convenience to other nearby routes when planning your routine.

How do I avoid surprises after I shortlist a few recommended buildings?

Call or message to confirm the exact unit’s terms (lease start, rent after any concessions, utilities responsibility, and any move-in requirements). Then ask about ongoing issues tenants mention in reviews/Q&A.

Do renter recommendations guarantee availability or identical quality across units?

No. Availability changes, and the experience can vary by unit type, floor, or condition. Use the signal to guide your shortlist, and verify specifics for the exact apartment you plan to rent.

Which neighborhoods are trending in this scope right now?
