What to check before choosing a building recommended by renters near the B47 bus in Stuyvesant Heights

Use the filter to narrow to buildings near the B47 bus, then sort/scan renter feedback to understand day-to-day fit.
Confirm the practical commute: ask about the exact walk time to the B47 stop, service frequency, and any typical sidewalk bottlenecks.
Before signing, verify the current rent, move-in costs (deposit and fees), and whether the advertised unit still matches the terms discussed.
Check building basics from open signals (when available) and confirm in person: laundry access, maintenance response, and any entry/package rules.
If you’re sensitive to noise or traffic from transit corridors, ask for a unit viewing on the same day/time you expect to commute.
