It’s a multi-filter set scoped to the West Village, combining proximity to the B train with Openigloo’s building-level signal for better water-pressure fit. Use it to narrow down buildings to inspect more closely.

How many buildings match these filters right now?

There are 57+ buildings in the current West Village pool for this page.

Is water pressure guaranteed just because a building is on this page?

No. This page helps you start with buildings that look promising, but water pressure can vary by unit layout, floor, or plumbing condition. Confirm by asking the building directly and checking during a walkthrough.

How should I use the ratings here?

Treat the rating as a screening tool. Read the rated-building comments for plumbing-related context and look for patterns that match your needs (for example, consistency across peak hours).

What questions should I ask the super/management about water pressure?

Ask whether they’ve received recent complaints, whether they can test pressure in the specific unit, and whether any parts of the building have known pressure variability (by floor, wing, or fixture type).

Are the signals based on records or on tenant experience?

On Openigloo, the page is grounded in renter-focused building signals and rated-building feedback. Still, use those cues to guide direct questions to management about current conditions.

Which neighborhoods are trending in this scope right now?

East Village with 11,857+ buildings; Yorkville with 9,328+ buildings; Hell's Kitchen with 6,943+ buildings; Lenox Hill with 8,357+ buildings; Kips Bay with 4,472+ buildings.

What to check before choosing a building highly rated for water pressure near the B train in West Village

Confirm the commute reality: the page is “near the B train,” so still check the exact walking time from each building’s front door to your usual B stop.
Verify water pressure in person (or via maintenance): ask about recent pressure complaints, whether they test/measure, and if any units had recurring issues.
Use the rated-building score as a starting point: read the specific comments tied to plumbing/water pressure instead of relying on the overall rating alone.
Check what “best water pressure” means for that building: ask whether it varies by floor/unit or changes after renovations and seasonal demand.
Before signing, confirm full move-in costs (deposit, any fees) and ask whether utilities differ by unit plumbing setup or any building-wide metering.
