Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Vince Young reveal a mix of experiences. Many residents appreciate the quiet atmosphere, responsive management, and excellent locations close to transportation and amenities. Nevertheless, issues have been noted regarding heat inconsistencies, maintenance delays, and cleanliness, particularly related to pest control and garbage management. While most tenants positively view the management team, some have expressed dissatisfaction with responsiveness, urging improvements particularly in building upkeep and accountability. Overall, those seeking a cozy living environment may find these properties appealing, but potential renters should be prepared for some maintenance challenges.

Great Value for the Location

Pros

Quiet units, I don’t even hear my roommates. Management is relatively responsive. Incredible location, very connected to transport (1, 2, 3, B, C). 1 block from Central Park.

Cons

Heat in the winter is miserably hot in 1 room and nonexistent in another room. You can probably get this fixed under the new laws but we haven’t bothered. Truly no different than any other pre-war building. Keep windows open and run your ac. We don’t pay electric but future tenants might.

easy and comfortable living

Pros

Quiet, especially for living on 72nd street, felt safe, cute and comfortable apartment, good light. Super was responsive.

Cons

Some of the upkeep and maintenance in bathroom and kitchen could have been better.
