Would recommend the building
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Very clean
-Great doormen
-Amenities were good/working
-Any maintenance request was answered quickly
Cons:
-Elevators (they took forever for higher floors)
-Sometimes neighbors - there seemed to be some college-aged residents. Maybe it was bad luck, but apartment next to mine while I lived there for 2 years would occassionally have parties on weekdays until 3am (loud music, screaming people, etc.). I had called the front desk twice to complain about their noise since it was during a weekday and nothing was really done.

Really normal place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well maintained, elevator wait isn’t usually bad if anything it’s just at rush hour times and it’s manageable. Younger vibe. Good amenities for the cost.
Cons:
People who don’t live there take all the chairs on the roof in the summer
Advice to owner:
Maybe a stricter doorman would make me feel a little safer but I’ve never felt unsafe

Great Building in your 20s
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building and decent amenities for a competitive rate. It's a great building to live in during your 20s - lots of young professionals and amazing rooftop
Cons:
Doormen are incredibly nice but security has gotten worse over the years. Visitors were always required to check in previously, now people walk right by the front desk to the elevators

Great on a daily basis -- not great management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, great units, great well maintained amenities, 24 hour very helpful doorman service, very fast with maintenance requests -- pretty much anything "daily basis" things are top notch.
Cons:
Managment and emergency response are not great (non "daily basis" things).

Management is very very very slow to respond, generally unreachable and (at least for us, historically) very unhelpful. Whether we're asking about moving to a different unit in the building, asking for rent extensions, trying to figure out a lease renewal situation -- expect whoever it is you're supposed to be contacting to not pick up your calls, take 1-3 weeks to respond, and not be accommodating of whatever it is you need.

We had a fire in the building, laundry machines all burnt down and air quality throughout building, especially on third floor was quite bad for an extended period and the building's main response overall was "it's not that bad, stop messaging us". No help with laundry, no rent reductions, no early lease breaks for folks with health conditions etc.
Advice to owner:
Staff is great, management is bad. Stop not helping people.

Advice to owner:
nothing - continue being amazing

Review of 33 bond st
Former Tenant
Pros:
* well managed - building is well maintained, support staff is great and prompt with requests
* centrally located - close to all major subway lines and grocery stores
Cons:
* amenities - building has very little to offer in terms of amenities (e.g., no gym), but you cannot opt out of it. You have to pay even if you’re never going to use the minimal amenities they have.
Advice to owner:
Either improve amenities to make it worthwhile paying for or let tenants opt out if they desire

Cons:
no cons except its pricy

Pretty decent highrise building
Former Tenant
Pros:
I generally like living here. Relative to the other buildings in the area the best parts are the deal with chelsea piers and the balconies that many apartments have. The staff are very nice and any maintenance tickets are dealt with promptly.
Cons:
The sidewalk area in front of the building on bond street always has dog piss/shit. They should plant a bit of grass there in a planter. Also lots of trash on the sidewalk across the street due to people hawking junk in front of goodwill.

The Max(606 W 57th St)
Former Tenant
Pros:
The management is amazing, if there was ever an issue with the apartment we would submit a request online and they would come within a day. The units are very modern and clean. We never had any issues with noise and could rarely hear our neighbors. The amenities are amazing and open almost 24/7. Overall an amazing building and space.
Cons:
Other than the walk to the subway station(around 16 minutes) there is really nothing to complain about. Additionally there is not much around the building(a couple sores/restaurants) so if youre hungry/looking for something youll prbably have to go to 9th or 10th ave
