Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by Jeremy Kilts reveal significant management challenges. Issues with cleanliness and pest control are common, especially complaints about rodents and insects. Garbage management appears inconsistent, impacting overall upkeep. While some appreciate location and certain amenities like elevators, many report heating problems and poor water pressure. Owner responsiveness is frequently described as slow or unhelpful, with some tenants experiencing unprofessional or intimidating behavior. Safety concerns due to homeless presence and neglected maintenance are also noted. Prospective renters should be cautious, as multiple accounts highlight neglect in building care and communication, affecting residents' comfort and security.

rats and homeless

Pros

lived here for 1 month. best thing about it is the location.

Cons

rats upon moving in, cockroaches, loud neighbors, and the biggest issue was the homeless people’s needles and sexual encounters at my front door. once had a someone strung out and lifeless blocking me from opening the front door. Huge no.

Advice to the owners

decent place to live

Pros

had no issues with neighbors, paid a good price, convenient location. liked that we had an elevator and stairs.

Cons

the super changed his number and didn't tell me, so when i got locked out i had no way of contacting him. had a few roaches when i moved in but nothing crazy since i kept the apartment clean. my electricity bill was absolutely ridiculous in this area compared to living in other areas.
