Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Ephraim Fruchthandler's buildings reflects mixed experiences largely based on location. Manhattan properties often praise the super's responsiveness and community feel, with comfortable units and well-managed garbage. However, recurring heat inconsistencies, occasional loud radiators, and pest issues—especially rats and mice—are common complaints. Communication about construction and maintenance delays needs improvement. Brooklyn buildings suffer from significant management neglect, with unresolved pest infestations, dirty common areas, and safety concerns, alongside unresponsive or problematic staff. Rent increases amid these issues are a sore point. Overall, tenants value the super's efforts but expect better owner responsiveness and stronger oversight to address pest control and building upkeep.
