Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Jacob Fulop's buildings show a mixed management track record. Tenants often praise responsive maintenance and convenient amenities like app-based rent payment and keyless entry. Cleanliness and garbage management ratings vary widely, with some sites spotless and others suffering from mold, mildew, and pest problems. Laundry facilities are frequently noted as inadequate or overpriced, with calls for upgrades. Noise levels and neighbor quality range from excellent to very poor, reflecting inconsistent building environments. Communication with management can be challenging, especially with some staff members reportedly rude. While some tenants recommend these properties for affordability and location, others cite neglect and poor upkeep as serious concerns.

Pretty good building

Pros

The building is nice and the apartments are reasonably sized for the price with good aesthetic choices in lighting fixtures and exposed brick

Cons

The dryer in the basement doesn’t really work you have to dry like 3 times. Also there’s only one washer and dryer for the whole building so you’ll be fighting over it

Advice to the owners

replace the dryer and buy another pair. Or just make them free

Whatever I guess

Pros

You’re probably moving to this gentrification looking ahhh building because you’re a transplant, and you’re broke, and if you’re either one of those two things then this is a perfect place for you. It’s not so bad you should rule it out, I mean it does have central air and heating! Yayyy so sick.

Cons

One washer and dryer for the whole building and you have to pay for it. Heinous. The walls are also as thin as paper so get ready to hear your roommates doing both the #1 and #2, and other sounds that come from their beds, and your upstairs neighbor will sound like an elephant whenever they walk.

Advice to the owners

Do better.
