Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Matthew Adam Properties reveal a mixed tenant experience. While some appreciate the prime locations, friendly staff, and well-maintained common areas, there are recurring concerns about heating inconsistency, pest infestations, and outdated facilities. Garbage management and cleanliness vary notably between buildings, with several reports of delayed or inadequate maintenance responses, especially in non-co-op units. Management tends to be slow in addressing urgent repairs and improvements, causing frustration among renters. Additionally, some tenants point out issues with outdoor homeless presence affecting building entrances. Prospective renters can expect decent amenities but should be prepared for occasional management and upkeep challenges.

Overall enjoyed living here

Pros

Great location and great views. Loved having roof deck. Gym is small but convenient.

Cons

Building has been having heat issues as of 2025. Have seen several cockroaches and mice in basement. If renting from unit owner who does not live in town, expect long wait times for fixes, as it can be hard to get contractors.
