Review Summary for 50 Murray Street Acquisition LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant feedback for buildings managed by 50 MURRAY STREET ACQUISITION LLC indicates generally well-kept properties with clean common areas, responsive maintenance, and helpful doormen. Residents appreciate the location, spacious units, and amenities like rooftop access and discounted gym memberships. However, management responsiveness varies, with some citing slow replies and occasional rudeness. Noise levels and thin walls are common concerns, particularly in buildings with many younger tenants, resulting in a lively but sometimes noisy environment. Package room hours and building security have room for improvement. Overall, while management is often praised for maintenance, communication and tenant relations could be more consistent.

50 Murray is great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Plenty of amenities. The staff is nice. Spacious apartment.
Cons:
The package room is only open during the work day so if you are in office you have to call to have your packages left out, which often they were not.
Advice to owner:
Have longer package room hours.

Yuppies in finance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large units, flexibility with flex walls, rooftop access. Conveniently located to many subway lines.
Cons:
Most people who live here are recent grads who work in finance, and the noise on the rooftop/halls will reflect that. Also, if you live on the floor above the equinox, you will hear its music and every weight dropped.

Cons:
Noise, walls are thin!
Advice to owner:

50 Murray Review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, responsive to maintenance issues.
Cons:
The doormen do not stop anyone, and the walls are pretty thin so it can be loud. Especially loud on the street at night.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Super safe, great tenants, very clean, no rodent issues ever or roaches, everything is updated
Cons:
Management company is kind of rude and not clear about fees so lots of hidden invoices, garbage room can be a mess

Great apartment, meh location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super responsive maintenance; very clean; and quiet
Cons:
The neighborhood is more FiDi than Tribeca
Advice to owner:
Maintain the hallways better — they need updating

Increasingly younger tenants
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful
Cons:
building tenants have become increasingly younger and the building seems to be prioritizing moving more bodies into units to charge more in rents vs supporting existing tenants. Younger tenants are louder and constantly take up the roof in the spring/summer.

Cons:

Nice but be ready for subway noise and loud neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff was friendly and responsive. Units are cookie cutter and fine
Cons:
It feels like a glorified dorm with loud parties often. This also sits above the subway and you can hear and feel the trains as they rumble by
