Nice but not clean

Pros

The apartment itself is nice. It's a decent space and a good location. Management can be hit or miss. They send pest control right away and when the heat and hot water was out they fixed it right away. On the other hand we waited over a month for a microwave when ours broke so...

Cons

The garbage is kept in the "lobby" area right under the stairs. I have seen mice there and have even had a rat get into my apartment once. The apartment also has a serious roach problem especially in the summer.

Advice to the owners

I think finding a better garbage management system would help lessen the roach problem.

Unresponsive management, 1st floor unit had sewage regularly flood from toilets

Pros

Living right off of Queens Blvd in Sunnyside was far and away the best place about this apartment. Somehow there isn't too much car noise, with only a 2 minute walk to the 7.

Cons

Now of course this was the 1st floor/half basement unit, but there was little sunlight in the rooms and they looked out directly into walkways for other tenants. Once every couple months sewage flooded into the apartment through the drains, and when a plumber came he said it was a problem with the main line and it was going to keep happening no matter what. The super was somewhat helpful, but other management were completely unresponsive.
