Great neighborhood and location

Pros

It’s so close to the subway and main bus lines. So many restaurants and shopping along 2nd and 3rd Avenue so many convenient shops and grocery stores. Fairly quiet block and felt pretty safe. The building management is very good about getting back to you about any problems.

Cons

The stairs to get to the laundry is very steep and narrow so it’s difficult to bring laundry up and down with a basket or cart. A few neighbors are not great about emptying their washer or dryers so you have to constantly wait or empty it out which I don’t like to do. The front door sometimes doesn’t close properly due to neighbors not securing it but management is aware. Water pressure could be a bit better.
