solid choice for the neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
newly renovated walk up building, haven't had many issues with the apartment. management is sometimes slow to respond, but i've always gotten an answer eventually.
Cons:
at times with severe weather, there's been a small bit of water infiltration, but nothing serious.

Unexplained fees and non-responsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
size of stairs and hallways
laundry in basement
Cons:
OWNER DID NOT RETURN SECURITY DEPOSIT (claimed fees for cleaning and painting - these are responsibilities of rental companies)
Owner did not respond in a timely fashion when front door lock was broken to building
Owner did not coordinate when showing the apartment
Owner raised rent $1,000
Owner is not responsive to needs of tenants (maintenance requests)
Lack of communication with management
Advice to owner:
Improve communication
Expectations around security deposits.

Not Worth It
Former Tenant
Pros:
Heat/AC units in the apt, laundry in building
Cons:
Super thin walls. I hear neighbors' conversations, music, and even extracurricular activities. Hardly any windows. Small space. The one-bedroom is more like a converted studio -> it's a rectangle with doors separating the bedroom.
Advice to owner:
Good luck champ.
