Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Mark Kalimian indicate a generally positive tenant experience, particularly noting the helpfulness of on-site supers. Residents appreciate the cleanliness and effective garbage management, as well as responsive management. However, concerns persist over pest control issues in some units and occasional package theft. Noise levels can vary, especially in busier areas. While tenants enjoy the convenient locations and good neighborly relations, some have expressed dissatisfaction with management's responsiveness on certain issues. Overall, the buildings are suitable for renters seeking a supportive community, though some improvements in security and pest management are recommended.

Reviews

Former tenant·just now

Great super, convenient location

Pros

Great starter apartment for someone commuting to Downtown/Midtown for work. Next to all the subways. Lived here when I was 22. Apartment was fine, super was fantastic and live-in - not sure if he and his family still work there.

Cons

Park Ave is busy. We lived in a flexed unit so it was a little bit tight and the drain clogged a lot in the shower. Building is definitely older, no amenities.

Used to be good, now not really

Pros

Small building, great location, renovated kitchens.

Cons

Constant issues with packages beign stolen, management and super (new super) are reactive and don't seem to really want to find a solution for anything. the previuos super was a great advocate for the building and tenants.
