Ultimate NYC experience: livable, but not without concessions
Pros
Clean, newly renovated, kind neighbors, great location, safe neighborhood and responsive landlord. Having Pacha Cafe directly next door and Rogers Ave deli just across the street are huge plus points.
Cons
The super was rude, unpleasant, and no-showed to crucial maintenance appointments twice. The neighborhood also gets VERY loud at night. On top of sirens blaring at all times (there's a fire station AND a hospital nearby) people in the neighboring building tend to gather, play music, or throw bbq parties directly in front of this building especially on holidays. There is also a minor German roach infestation? I see one cockroach every week or so in my unit and I have roach traps everywhere. Last but not least there is barely any closet space in the bedroom and you are likely to need your own dresser.

Pros
good upgrades the last few years (cage for packages, really good new washers/dryers). prices are reasonable for the area, with a few stabilized units. studios and 1 bedrooms definitely on the smaller side, especially kitchens
Cons
elevator service has been kind of spotty the last year, goes out ~1x a month or more for hours up to several days. no other major complaints
