Avoid this building (and all buildings owned by Eberhart Bros)
Pros
1 - Cute neighborhood with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. 2 - Access to public transportation is decent, making it easy to get around the city.
Cons
1 - The landlord is completely incompetent, rude, and dismissive, showing no regard for tenants’ well-being. 2 - For over 7 months, unbearable noise from a neighbor made it impossible to work remotely or sleep, and the landlord did nothing despite receiving endless evidence and witnessing the noise firsthand. 3 - Instead of solving the issue, they made snide, inappropriate comments about the neighbor, mocking their behavior in an attempt to appear sympathetic. This unprofessional and malicious attitude is beyond unacceptable. 4 - The management’s refusal to act on tenant concerns demonstrates a total disregard for their responsibilities and a lack of basic human decency. Overall, Eberhart Bros has by far been the worst landlord I’ve dealt with in NYC. If you value your peace of mind and quality of life, avoid their properties at all costs.
