Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Daniel Caller consistently report severe issues with cleanliness, garbage management, and pest infestations, with multiple complaints about rats and mice. Heating is frequently faulty or inconsistent, and water pressure is often weak. Tenants describe poor responsiveness from management and the superintendents, who are viewed as lazy and unhelpful, contributing to unresolved repairs and maintenance problems. Noise levels are high, and neighborhoods are often described as unpleasant or unsafe. Overall, renters advise significant improvements in building upkeep, management accountability, and pest control, but express strong dissatisfaction and generally do not recommend these properties.

Nightmare building from Hell

Pros

Absolutely nothing at all.

Cons

I hated everything about the building it's never clean there are rats the size of small cats garbage all over the halls and steps. The super Jose Peña has absolutely no people skills is super lazy and disrespectful. Neighbors are loud rude and inconsiderate. Addicts sleep on hallway and stairs drug transactions are made in plain sight in the building.

Advice to the owners

Be more responsible get rid of your no good super and fix this building up.

My mother suffered the winter with lack of heat and hot water

Pros

Not much to say

Cons

The super of the building is lazy, and does not like to repair the problems that the apartments have.

Advice to the owners

My mother who lived in apartment #5A has passed away on March 24th of this year. The apartment looks like crap, but it is not the property owner fault, because he was not aware of all the damage that the apartment has.
