decent high rise apartment, somewhat poor management
Pros
- decent location with lots of trains - generally clean - great staff - “acceptable” prices for nyc standard
Cons
- heating availability very inconsistent during the winter - water shuts off with very little notice sometimes - elevators broken more than they should - my friend who referred me to the building never got his referral bonus (which isn’t much to begin with)
Advice to the owners
make the necessities like heat/water supply better
Quiet, Spacious, Great AC - but had trouble with heat in winter
Pros
- The most spacious place we've ever lived, huge kitchen and storage, spacious bathroom, comfortably fit a large media console and keyboard and 2 WFH desk set-ups (one in living room and one in kitchen) - Online portal and lease management very easy to access - Great value for the price and located near many grocery stores, target, fast casual food options - Easy access to waterfront in brooklyn heights and farmer's market - Easy access to Cobble Hill and atlantic ave - Pretty large gym that was almost always empty - Yoga studio - Laundry was easy to manage via mobile app
Cons
- The immediate surrounding neighborhood has some sketchy folks sometimes. I never felt in danger or unsafe but it is something that sometimes dissuades me from spending too much time outside in immediate vicinity. - Heat seems to be only available at a certain time, which caused neighbors to be upset. I never personally had any issues
