Nyp owned building

Pros:

Very spacious apts, great response time for maintenance request, doormen are friendly.

Cons:

They say large dogs are not allowed, but there are several. The other thing is that the heat/and ac are one unit. So when the heat is turned on during the winter there is no way to change the temp unless you turn the unit off or open a window and vice versa in the summer.

Very conveniently located, but far from many things. Some of the staff was nice and helpful.

Cons:

My hallway had sitting water for days, giving musty smell. Some of the staff was unaware they were at work and had a job to do.

Advice to owner:

Ask the doorman to be doorman, clean up the hallways or get new carpet to get rid of the musty smell.

Good and spacious but have had some cockroaches

- Desk people can be very unhelpful at times
- Winter/summer heating/cooling transition can be brutal w/ central unit, they change it early

More frequently pest control for the roaches

Lives here for three years. Very clean. Maintenance comes within the hour.

Great apartment!

Well maintained, nice security personnel, washer & dryer on each floor, huge space, maintenance staff are always on time, best apartment I had in NYC!

Cons:

A bit on the pricey side, gym needs updating

Nothing really. They’re doing a great job.

Wonderful and responsive staff, very safe and clean, well cared for.

Cons:

Some neighbors on our floor were very noisy in the hallways.

Advice to owner:

Enforce hallway rules a bit more closely (hallway playing of children and dogs)
