Review Summary for 275 Linden Realty Corp
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of buildings managed by 275 LINDEN REALTY CORP point to significant management deficiencies. Tenants consistently note poor cleanliness and deficient garbage management. Heating, water pressure, and pest control are frequently cited as inadequate, with reports of serious roach infestations and faulty building renovations. Noise levels and neighbor relations are problematic, contributing to a disruptive living environment. Owner responsiveness is generally slow or dismissive, with multiple renters expressing frustration over unaddressed maintenance issues and poor communication. Despite some appreciation for the building’s structure, residents overwhelmingly advise improved upkeep, pest control, and modernization of rent payment methods to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Tin can overpriced by a slumlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Basically nothing. they are good about the garbage for the most part and the super is nice and does what he can. Haven’t had any pests since being here even though I heard it used to be an issue.
Cons:
Price gouging for no amenities
Disgustingly dirty
We moved in and every single thing was broken and not fixed
SO LOUD - you hear every single noise within the building
No option to pay rent electronically, or even in separate checks if you have a roommate
Door buzzing system does not work - you need to manually go to the door to let anyone in
Everything in the apartment is so cheap it looks like it was made by an elementary schooler for a school project
Tenants are dysfunctional, loud, and inconsiderate. One, Kelly, who does not have a job and lives off the government, spends all day smoking cigarettes. often in the hallways. Slamming doors and yelling at all hours of the night (they’re not even young people either). Perpetually screaming child living upstairs. They also throw parties with randoms on the porch when it’s warm, all night
Shower water is only ranges from cold to slightly hot. This slightly hot water runs out after 7 mins
Entire street is extremely sketchy
Advice to owner:
Clean the units. Stop charging so much and exploiting people. Actually use modern technology. If the building is going to be a piece of garbage you can at least price it cheaply.

Old building with an awful renovation job.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The bones of the building are solid, exposed brick and such.
Cons:
Where do I start. You can hear everything outside and this section of hart st is extremely loud and active. Third floor neighbors are disrespectful and have lived there for 10 years all while trashing the place so they feel no need to be kind to new tenants. There are cockroaches, had to spend hours filling all the holes in my unit to mitigate this. The owner did an awful job whenever they renovated the place a handful of years back. Walls aren’t level, trim is unfinished, random pieces of the wall trim are just missing. All wood used as trim is scrap or some sort of ply wood.

Hell on Earth
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice layout, big bedroom, backyard
Cons:
Horrific roach problem. We noticed German roaches the day we moved in. They were jn cabinets, the fridge/freezer, the sink, even made it to my cats litter box. I had to throw out so many valuable or expensive things especially in the kitchen when we moved out. Upon calling Rupert for help with exterminating, he would constantly dodge and not return my calls. One day he told me “there’s no roaches in the building; you must be hallucinating.”
