ICEBOX UNBEARABLE FREEZING COLD NO HEAT

Pros

Location. Very nice diverse neighborhood

Cons

I lived here for 4 miserable years . My kids and I FROZE our ass off during those years . Called landlord office numerous times about this and basically got strung along but nothing changed still no heat . To say freezing cold is one thing but when you literally can’t even walk barefooted on your floor from the ache of the cold it’s horrid . Speaking to other people in building this wasn’t just my apartment . As well as Ethan the building manager was rude and VERY condescending on numerous occasions . It’s a bit of a tough pill to swallow when you’re paying 1800 + a month and getting absolutely no heat .

Advice to the owners

Participate in some customer service workshops. Insulate apartments better because obviously since you don’t reside there you don’t care. Return key deposits to tenants when key is returned . Years later I’m still waiting for refund and yet still being strung along by Ethan jamron . Totally unprofessional wiseass! I regret not asking for interest on my deposit back . Basically DO BETTER!

A literal 'New Jack City'. Don't do it!

Pros

Beautiful renovated apartment. That is it. Love at first sight doesn't always mean it's meant to be.

Cons

Random people from the street who do not have keys waiting outside for someone to use their key and let them in. This is ALL the time. Leaking ceilings and other random QOL issues that never get addressed. Old building so smells and fumes come through floors. Windows open in the summer so you can breathe in the tenants vaping. Always fun. No amenities offered. No elevator. There is no upkeep in hallway. There are liquid stains and trash that won't get cleaned for months on end. Grand Avenue is loud. Windows are old. You will hear everything and it will sound like they are wide open but nope. Closed shut. Heat in the winter is inconsistent. Most times apartment will be freezing cold. You have no choice, they control it.

Advice to the owners

Stop lying to your tenants - You're a slumlord.
