Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of properties managed by Solstice Residential Group reveal a mix of experiences among residents. Positive aspects include well-maintained buildings, friendly neighbors, and responsive doormen, contributing to a generally pleasant living environment. However, there are significant concerns regarding owner responsiveness and management, particularly in some buildings experiencing inadequate maintenance and pest control issues. Notably, a few tenants highlighted problems with heating and noise levels. The overall sentiment suggests that while there are standout buildings within the portfolio, prospective renters should seek clarity on management practices before committing.

Condo owner new to renting

Pros

Location is fantastic, and building is well maintained. Elevator and laundry in the building. Neighbors are quiet, and doormen are friendly.

Cons

The super is concerned about optics and won’t help address serious pest issues (bedbugs). The unit owner who I rent from is brand new to owning a condo and doesn’t understand who manages what. I have a dishwasher in my unit that doesn’t work, and hasn’t worked since I moved into the unit in 2021 and the unit owner refuses to fix it because “he didn’t plan on using it.”
