Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of buildings managed by Mark Moskowitz generally appreciate the cleanliness, maintenance responsiveness, and efficient garbage management. Many highlight a quiet and safe environment with well-sized apartments and good heating. However, concerns include occasional pest problems, noise from neighbors or construction, and inconsistent responsiveness in some buildings. Parking availability is limited and some tenants report rude administrative staff. Management is praised for managing trash well and maintaining common areas, but improvements in pest control, noise control, and communication regarding policies like smoking are advised. Overall, residents find the apartments suitable for families seeking convenience and quiet despite some operational drawbacks.

Pros

The best thing about this property has nothing to do with the actual property and more to do with the neighborhood, which is quaint, diverse and centrally located.

Cons

Very noisy upstairs neighbor which was a daily nuisance. Made numerous complaints to property manager and site manager which went unanswered and unresolved. Admin staff in office are very rude and unhelpful. On-site super and maintenance staff inaccessible due to managing multiple buildings. They are clearly understaffed. Mice in the basement near laundry room. Rats roaming outside due to construction which lasted for years.
