The building is in a good area, but that's about it.
Cons
It's just not a nice building, very old, clearly no one involved cares about maintaining it. There's cracks in the stairwells, trash management is awful, laundry machines are often broken. There's been a leak in my bathroom ceiling for at least 6 months, whenever it rains hard enough, and they've done nothing to fix it. They've ignored emails and calls, and now there's a big crack in my wall, obviously from water damage. The floor is sinking in one corner. Terrible building, worse management. Truly awful. The super blames the property manager, the property manager blames the super. They're both useless.
Advice to the owners
Sell the building, stop being landlords. Or, have a sense of empathy and idk maybe like pride in your work? Grow up and fix the problems.
