It’s okay so far
Former Tenant
Pros:
No big pest problems
Cons:
Water leak from ceiling, still not fixing the issue
Over 4 years ago
Not the worst, definitely not the best
Former Tenant
Pros:
- “new” building
- laundry in basement
- close to train
Cons:
- property manager not the most responsive/prompt, doesn’t update on open maintenances requests, must follow up multiple times
- had several issues upon moving in.. no gas for 5 months (was not told there wouldn’t be gas until leases had been signed)
- ceiling leaks in the kitchen that went through two light fixtures
- water pressure is extremely low, had to put in a few requests for this
- water temp was not very warm
- ceiling leaks in bedroom multiple times
- holes in walls, scrapes and scratches on the floor, moldings/fixtures didn’t look completely finished for a new building, looked like a rushed job
- I think the worst was when the heat went out for a day during the huge snowstorm NYC had and the issue was not responded to promptly
- and the bottom two units of the building completely flooded during a rain storm.. so beware of living on the first floor
Advice to owner:
Proper walk through of the building and units prior to move-in, timelier responses to maintenance requests
