Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Bill Lika indicates a strong appeal in terms of location, especially in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. However, significant concerns emerge around building maintenance and cleanliness: persistent pest issues, inadequate garbage management, faulty heating, and security problems like unreliable front door locks and package theft are common themes. While some tenants note responsiveness from the landlord regarding heating and plumbing issues, others describe a general lack of care and poor upkeep. Noise and neighbor quality vary, with some reporting thin walls and disturbances. Overall, renters suggest urgent improvements in cleaning, pest control, security, and trash management to enhance living conditions.

Don’t do it

Pros

Location is phenomenal and rent is on the lower end for the area but it’s not worth sacrificing your mental health and standard of living.

Cons

Not clean or well maintained. Leaks, mold, pests, random holes and cracks everywhere. Packages constantly stolen, janky lock on the front door Plumbing is always backed up so heat barely works half the time. Garbage and recycling is just a feee for all in front of the building. Cherry on top is that the landlord is an asshole (and infamous for being one. Many who live or have lived in the area knows his rep and sends sympathy when i tell them who mine is).

Cons
