Living on UES
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors. And apartment was quite large
Cons:
Apartment hadn’t been renovated in 25 years. Tub spigot was shower only- water wouldn’t come out for bath. Fridge stopped working and they took 11 days to look at it and then another 21 to replace- 32 days without a fridge.
Advice to owner:
Respond to problems on a timely manner

Living At 141
Former Tenant
Pros:
We lived here for 3.5 years and really enjoyed our time there. We loved our neighbors and the neighborhood. Our 1BR apartment (4J) was ideal for our family as both the bedroom and the living area were very large for a 1BR. I believe it was about 750-800 sq ft.
Cons:
The building management and super were pretty slow to address issues like common space repairs or pest issues. Also, they try and present it as a luxury building but it’s definitely not as there are literally 0 amenities in the building.
Advice to owner:
Don’t pretend to be a luxury building and charge luxury rates because the building has 0 luxuries it affords to its tenants.

Nice place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 2 years and had a good experience. The doormen are kind and helpful, and the building is maintained well.
Cons:
The construction across the street was noisy and frustrating to work from home with.
