Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for buildings managed by Max Llamocca reveal serious concerns about property management. Tenants express dissatisfaction with cleanliness, garbage management, and overall building maintenance, often describing the conditions as filthy and poorly managed. Many note the unresponsiveness of the landlord, particularly regarding issues like security deposits and maintenance requests. While some residents report decent neighbor relationships and a responsive super in one building, the overall sentiment leans negative, highlighting urgent needs for improvements in cleanliness and safety. Renters suggest that greater owner involvement and attention to property upkeep could significantly enhance the living experience.

Slumlords who don’t care-Do not return security deposit!!

Pros

Have lived here for 50 years, and it was lovely. Family-friendly. Now it’s poorly managed, uncared for, and falling apart. It’s filthy. They did not return or answer emails regarding the security deposit when my father passed away.

Cons

Heat is awful in the winter; the laundry room is filthy. Management is unresponsive and nasty.

Advice to the owners

Clean! Care about the property

Used to be a grand building

Pros

My immediate neighbors have been here for many years

Cons

Dirty, unresponsive landlords, parking access doors are continuously broken, hence no safety for cars or back door entry access. The elevator and floors are in dire need of cleaning.

Advice to the owners

Please clean and provide proper safety precautions
