Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by Ehab Abousetta consistently praises the attentive and friendly front desk and maintenance staff, with responsive management noted as a strength. The buildings are generally clean and well-maintained, featuring good amenities such as gyms and roof decks. However, several renters express dissatisfaction with substantial annual rent increases and the presence of a short-term rental operation (Sonder) within the buildings, which some feel negatively impacts community feel, security, and cleanliness. Noise from construction and occasional maintenance delays are occasional issues. Overall, residents appreciate the management's responsiveness but desire more transparency and improved communication, especially regarding shared spaces and tenant policies.

Great apts to live in!

Pros

Front desk staff are great and attentive. The building was an office building before residential and has been around for a while, expect some mnt issues due to age, but staff is extremely responsive.

Cons

I don’t like that the building is shared with a hotel.

Advice to the owners

Get rid of sonder.
