Do Not Move Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Units include dishwashers and washer/dryers
Cons:
Nearly everything that was advertised as part of the listing has turned out to be untrue. There is a gym in the building but it is unsafe and unventilated, with faulty equipment on an uneven floor. Garbage gets left in hallways and elevators. Tenants smoke cigarettes in their units and because of improper HVAC installations, that smoke gets fed directly into other units. Water pressure is low and in six months of living here, at least 4 major water issues have meant that the water is turned off in the entire building. Management has terrible communication and is condescending, does not address issues or repairs, and refuses to help. Windows are drafty and leak water when it rains, heat doesn't work consistently and the public areas are completely unheated. This building is labeled as "luxury" but they didn't even paint or clean before we moved in, with tiles broken, outlets broken, water damage in every room. I could go on and on. Do not move here.
Advice to owner:
You should be ashamed of yourself.

DO NOT MOVE HERE
Former Tenant
Pros:
Units look fancy. Dishwasher works. Washer/dryer unit that theoretically works (is cheap, breaks half the time). Units are a decent size. Neighborhood is fabulous and is the best part by far.
Cons:
This place was built with hopes and prayers. Looks fancy; is actually garbage. The HVAC was done incorrectly — our bedroom smelled like cat litter when we moved in, and a guy came and checked it out and said it was getting vented in from another apartment bc it was incorrectly installed. Other tenants who moved in smoke, so cigarette smoke now gets ventilated into our apt. In 5 months of living here, 4 major water issues, including a pipe bursting, water literally running down the walls from overflow on the floor above us, and water leaking through the windows when it rains (which, what??!!!). Washer/dryer breaks regularly. Building mgmt has responded to maybe half the complaints and blames tenants always. Lots of condescending emails. They did take the pipe burst seriously (we had standing water/flooding in our apartment, in the hallway), which led to a surprise visit from a team that started ripping drywall out of our apartment with no notice, turning our apt into an inhabitable construction site. Building mgmt wouldn't pay for a hotel. The gym is unusable, as the floor is uneven and so cardio machines wobble. Also, it was a nightmare to even move in here. We exceeded the income requirement by a good amount but the building said they weren't "comfortable" with our credit (which wasn't bad!) so insisted we use a guarantor service, but THEIR guarantor service, which was just horrendous to use. Several thousand extra. So yeah. Skip this one.
