Nice building though maybe overpriced
Pros
The front desk staff are great and receive all packages for you that are put in a secure package room. The building is cleaned regularly and maintained well. Super is very quick to respond to request via the easy building app.
Cons
Amenities fee is $75. Roof closes at 10pm and no alcohol allowed. Management only responds when they want. They tried to raise my rent even when every other one bedroom was renting out for less than I was currently paying. I tried to see if management would consider not raising the price and they never got back to me even though I reached out 3 times over a month and a half.
Advice to the owners
Revise alcohol rules and time the roof is open. If you charge $75 a month you should have more free access. Respond to tenants and don’t try to raise rent for existing tenants when new tenants are paying less for the same apartment.
Fine First Apartment, Bad Management Drove Us Out
Pros
4 bedrooms, decent space in 3 of them, no major facilities issues, out super at the time was so great. No problems with him at all and he was a really nice guy
Cons
-Electricity bill was crazy whenever we used the apartment lights. Efficiency was probably terrible -Management raised our rent by $1,000 after the first year despite our neighbors literally being evicted by the police and no improvements to apartment. -Noisy neighbors above us and on the same floor -No good choices for doing laundry in the area
Advice to the owners
Do better.
