Pros
good neighbors, located near lots of bakeries, eateries, coffeeshops
Cons
very dirty, the landlord took 500 out of our security deposit and blamed us for the uncleanliness he failed to upkeep in his building. The kind of dirty you can't deep clean away. Stuff that comes with age and poor management. TRUE railroad-style apartment. You can't get to one room without going through another.
Advice to the owners
would honestly be best as a 1 bedroom

Pros
Stores and restaurants close by, very responsive and responsible landlord, landlord does a good job with keeping up with garbage disposal, never had issues with rat or roaches, nice neighbors.
Cons
Halls are not consistently clean, no mail system so must get a P.O. Box, heat is not centralized, electricity goes off if more than 5 items on at the same time at times, sometimes the hot water does not work well, no parking available, safety is concerning around the neighborhood, people around has dogs and do not pick up the poo.
Advice to the owners
Keeping up with the building stairs and halls cleaning at least once a week would be helpful.
