Ok building but needs a lot of updating

Pros

Very family-oriented building with great neighbors. They also just got a new super this year who seems to be doing a lot more around the building with what he has to work with (it is an old building). They have updated the laundry room with new machines. The building is also pet friendly, at least when I moved in it was.

Cons

Building still has cockroaches, even with monthly exterminators. Do have an updated laundry room but not an even number of washers/ dryers and there aren’t enough for how big the building is. Heat is obviously way too hot 🥵. I never know where to sort my recycling because the bins aren’t marked. Mgmt company seems bad, I’ve never gotten a renewal lease on time, I always have to reach out and ask.

Advice to the owners

Modern updates to the common areas of the building. Secure package room. More washers/dryers.
