Allowed criminal to work door
Former Tenant
Pros:
usually pleasant enough. nice well-maintained building in prime, though pretentious, Manhattan location
Cons:
Allowed and approved a known child sex offender to work as doorman for nearly a year. Disgusting and dangerous. Super could operate with more respectful decorum with all tenants not just those on the board
Advice to owner:
better vet doormen and treat all tenants with equal respect

The best building!
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is just beautiful. Renovated and has the most attentive staff. Tenants are all good people.
Cons:
I adore this building but did have some roaches in my unit. Not an infestation, but the only negative experience I've had.

Amazing and cool apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is clean, Bal and everyone that works in the building are amazing, kind and attentive. Pretty close to Grand Central and have the E train pretty close by as well. Beautiful views of the city, a pretty cool 70-80 vibe. Everything is well maintained and it has laundry in the building.
No noise from the neighbors, the walls and floors are great! I miss this place.
Cons:
Its midtown but low key i regret moving out of the neighborhood because I don't think I'll get a better living/building experience.

Excellent building in good location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very well maintained doorman building. Hallways are always vacuumed and trash is taken out twice a day. Lobby is always attended and doormen are super friendly.
Cons:
The area is located near mostly office buildings and hotels. Very few restaurant and bar options compared to downtown.

Great Building. Would live here again!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building just redid the lobby and elevators so they are new and modern. The doormen are all extremely nice and helpful! Building is located in a great area and street. I really enjoyed living at Turtle Bay House.
Cons:
Nothing to complain about that you won’t know going in. There are no amenities like a gym or roof deck so it is a no frills building.

Gramercy Park, the rancid beauty
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean and properly maintained. Proximity to Gramercy Park.
Cons:
Building staff does not really acknowledge you if you are not a co-op owner. You have 0 advantages of having a doorman and all of the disadvantages such as not really feeling home ever.
Neighbors, often the older ones, are probably the rudest people I have ever met in my life. Very aggressive, closed minded and not welcoming people. I can’t wait to leave the building and neighborhood.
Advice to owner:
Building management should treat renters as well as the co-op owners if they want to maintain revenue when they decide to rent their apartments.

Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Soundproof walls and floors—never hear the neighbors, friendly and competent staff, well maintained and after 4 years still haven’t seen a single bug
Cons:
The location is surrounded by hotels and office buildings, not a residential neighborhood.
