Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Maryann Baumrind manages a portfolio with mixed tenant experiences. Responsive management and attentive supers are frequently praised, especially for timely communication and handling urgent issues. Many buildings are well-located with quiet, respectful neighbors and reasonable rents for the area. However, persistent pest problems, particularly rodents and cockroaches, and inadequate pest control efforts are common complaints in some older buildings. Cleanliness and maintenance vary widely, with some tenants reporting neglected upkeep, outdated infrastructure, and poor noise insulation. While some tenants recommend these buildings, others advise caution due to inconsistent management responsiveness and building deterioration, suggesting a need for improved pest control and facility upgrades to meet tenant expectations.

Reviews

Former tenant·14 minutes ago

Great location, great price, bad sound insulation between floors.

Pros

Perfect location on the most idyllic street, and at a great price. Management is nice and responsive, and super is incredible. Neighbors are all quiet and respectful, not loud at all.

Cons

The main con is that there is poor sound insulation between floors. Every footstep is heard.
