Cons
Maintenance responsiveness: There is a portal where you can submit maintenance requests, but they will never follow up unfortunately. To get them to check out the issue, you have to hound the owner to escalate to the super (and the response time depends on the condo owner's responsiveness) Noise: If your unit is facing Hyatt, there is a huge garbage truck that comes at late hours in the night (2-4am) and is extremely loud - you might get used to it, but it's very loud and distracting. Otherwise the area is quiet. AC/Heat: HVAC system is extremely old and not effective at cooling. It will get cool eventually but it takes a long time. The AC unit also periodically makes noise, probably due to how old the system is. Management is not very keen on installing new systems even though the HVAC unit is nearing its end of life.
Great condo in LIC
Pros
Small size of condo with an appropriate number of elevators . Doesn’t feel too busy. Good location (the most ideal in LIC).
Cons
The common area / hallway could use a little TLC
