Shady Landlord Tactics

Pros

Good sized apartments. Ok location.

Cons

Vito is shady - his wife is the broker, so they’re essentially renting you their own apartment and charging a fee (Or they used to — thankfully that’s not legal anymore). They’ll nickel and dime you for every little thing. The building layout is good but they jacked up the rent every year I was there with no room to negotiate. Water damage on the ceiling. Rarely hot water in the showers. Occasional roaches. Terrible kitchen. Rent payment by mail to a PO Box.

Advice to the owners

Just sell the property, you clearly cannot manage it!
