Pros:
There was cleaning 2x a week, and garbage being taken out 2x.
Close to Central Park
In Unit laundry
Cons:
Management not responsive to requests or needs
Horrible communication
There was a time in the winter where 4 or more days passed where the heat stopped working
No security, packages get taken
Advice to owner:
do better by responding to the needs of your renters

Pros:
Location, updated appliances, laundry in unit, pet friendly, price.
Cons:
Water leaves weird gross staining, no fan in bathroom (have to open window), bugs, mice, no package area (stolen packages), heat is iffy, fire alarm goes off each time we use oven, fridge is backwards so can’t open all the way, outdated rent payment method.

Nice people in the building. Good area for food and drinks. Right off the 6
Cons:
Severe rodent problem that they didn’t seem to care about. Heat was often turned off in the winter at night

Call an exterminator

Pros:
Super and building maintenance is fine.
Cons:
Packages were stolen multiple times and it was IMPOSSIBLE (never received) to get security camera footage or even simply a statement saying there was no available footage to be able to file a police report for reimbursement. Salon Realty Management company is useless.

Luxury prices with 1 star motel quality

The location is great
Cons:
Having 3 garbage cans for 18 full apartments and taking that garbage out once a week. Garbage lined the hallway. Owners/Managers complete scum lords. Had no water plumbing for weeks in the height of the pandemic. Maitnence leaves tools/ladders scattered around the building. The common space is a garbage tool shed. Good luck reaching anyone with any problems you may have
Advice to owner:
Learn how to respect your tenants by being responsive. Weeks of un answered emails/calls. Tell the maintenance guys to stop smoking cigarettes by the property it makes the building smell. Just do better all around. Luxury prices for motel hospitality
