Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by PARK NORTH REALTY LLC reveals significant challenges with maintenance and management. Common issues include unreliable heating systems, poor cleanliness, ineffective garbage management, andslow or unresponsive landlord communication. Despite the quiet neighborhoods and convenient locations near Central Park, many residents feel neglected, citing prolonged repair delays and pest problems. The management's apparent disregard for tenant comfort and property upkeep has led to dissatisfaction and distrust. Prospective renters should anticipate persistent maintenance shortcomings, although some tenants still recommend the buildings for their location. Overall, the buildings suffer from inconsistent management and need increased attention to tenant needs and property care.

Treating the heat like some sort of torture machine
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really quiet street. Sweet neighborhood.
Cons:
They turn the heat off at night and then on in the morning briefly and then off all day. I'm not sure, are they trying to get people to move out? Hmmm... For real though, it's november and they are playing with the temperature in a way that does not seem legal.
Advice to owner:
Spend a night here, see what you think!

Neglectful Management with HORRIBLE Maintenance and Service
Former Tenant
Pros:
1) location, 2) location, 3) location
Cons:
• Building is old and dirty. • Heat and hot water in winter are terrible! • They lie A LOT and give you the runaround. • Repairs take forever. • They cut corners on everything. • Problems last for years.
Advice to owner:

Slumlords in NY are some of the most horrible people in the planet
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is great, close to Central Park.
Cons:
The building is completely neglected by management.
Advice to owner:
Visit the building. Get to know your tenants. It would be a good investment in the long run to actually start taking care of the property.
