Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent renters of buildings managed by Jonathan Erlich appreciate his responsive and personable management style, with many citing timely repairs and flexible lease terms. Buildings generally have a charming, historic character with spacious apartments and a strong sense of community. However, some properties suffer from maintenance issues such as pest control challenges, occasional heating inconsistencies, and outdated entrances or hallways. Garbage management is often well-handled, but common areas can sometimes be neglected, creating cleanliness concerns. Despite a few older building drawbacks, tenants value the approachable management and overall positive landlord-tenant relations, making these buildings desirable homes with room for infrastructure improvements.

Great neighbors, old building

Pros

There are some great things about living in an old building - charm, bigger spaces, unique layouts and this building comes with that. Larger than average studios and an incredible building community.

Cons

Because it is an old building you’re dealing with radiator heating, heating upstairs neighbors, and a pretty shabby hallway entry and dusty stairway. However, none of these issues are too bad.

Great aprtment with great neighbors

Pros

The ceiling! The Super. He found tiles on the street and updated my kitchen AFTER I signed the lease.

Cons

The entry could use an update, but that's minor.
