Review Summary for Third Lenox Terrace Associates LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback regarding buildings managed by THIRD LENOX TERRACE ASSOCIATES LLC points to a mixed experience with management responsiveness and upkeep. While residents appreciate the size of apartments and the presence of attentive doormen who contribute to a sense of security, the management office often falls short in communication and timely response to issues. Heating is frequently cited as inadequate during colder months, and pest control efforts appear inconsistent, with some reports of animal waste in common areas. Noise pollution from the surrounding neighborhood also detracts from tenant comfort. Overall, management could improve by bolstering staff reliability and addressing maintenance concerns more proactively.

Not Bad, but Could be Better
Former Tenant
Pros:
the people in the building are great! always felt secure and safe because there's a 24/7 doorman, so getting packages was a breeze.
Cons:
people were careless with pets, always encountering piss in the hallway or in the elevator. their also very stingy with the heat in the winter. occasionally would have issues with having clean water, but they would be able to fix under 48 hours usually.

Decent place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, good doorman, good laundry service although expensive. Apts are huge.
Cons:
Unresponsive management crew. The leasing office staff aren’t helpful. They also don’t attempt to remedy their mistakes which is a sign of bad mgmt.

Don’t expect a response
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building has lots of laundry in basement and the maintenance staff and doormen are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Cons:
If you want to hear back from the leasing office (Lenox Leasing which covers just the complex, not the larger Olnick company), good luck! They do not respond to emails, respond to voicemails, and barely pick up their phones. Information in leases is vague and you get different responses based on who you ask and the day.
Advice to owner:
Hire more reliable folks in the Lenox Leasing Office!!! And make sure they answer the phone because the voicemail box didn’t even work the last time I tried calling.

Not the best
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great doormen. Apartments are a decent size.
Cons:
SO much noise in the neighborhood. We were on a high floor and could hear sirens and super loud motorbikes all day and night.

Most of the time it was like pulling teeth to try to get building management to respond to maintenance issues.

Neighborhood is getting crazy. Gunshots, people shooting up, lots of trash everywhere etc (and this is coming from someone who grew up in NYC).
