Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 25 West 132 Street, Manhattan, highlight the building's spacious apartments, 24/7 doorman, and generally friendly residents as strong points. Laundry facilities and reliable water pressure are also appreciated. However, several tenants report issues with inconsistent heating, pest problems, and occasional water quality fluctuations. Management responsiveness is a common concern, with residents noting poor communication and difficulty in obtaining timely maintenance. Noise levels vary, with some experiencing disruptive neighborhood sounds. While safety is valued, some express worries about local street conditions. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback, particularly regarding pet-related messes. Overall, community atmosphere and security are positives, though management and building maintenance could improve.

Not Bad, but Could be Better
Former Tenant
Pros:
the people in the building are great! always felt secure and safe because there's a 24/7 doorman, so getting packages was a breeze.
Cons:
people were careless with pets, always encountering piss in the hallway or in the elevator. their also very stingy with the heat in the winter. occasionally would have issues with having clean water, but they would be able to fix under 48 hours usually.

Decent place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, good doorman, good laundry service although expensive. Apts are huge.
Cons:
Unresponsive management crew. The leasing office staff aren’t helpful. They also don’t attempt to remedy their mistakes which is a sign of bad mgmt.
