CONSTANT ISSUES, mgmt has ATTITUDE
Pros
The apartments are beautiful. If I'm being honest, we keep staying because we do genuinely love the apartment. I will give management credit for being responsive, issues are usually resolved quickly. Only 3 apartments in the building, each on their own floor, with commercial space on the ground floor/basement currently occupied by Wing Stop.
Cons
It's constant issues: - Heat/hot water cutting out in the winter multiple times - The worst was when Wing Stop came into the commercial space on the ground floor they didn't set up proper ventilation and their fryer exhaust was coming into the apartments above; it was nauseating and definitely carcinogenic; went on for maybe 3-4 months before being rectified - The first apartment was paying for the commercial space heat for YEARS and it took drastic measures to get it rectified with both National Grid and the landlord - Mouse issues, cockroach issues (to be fair those were both resolved quickly); every time an exterminator comes they discover more holes that need to be covered due to poor construction - Pipe burst, water damage - Gas leak - VERY noisy being on Flatbush, right across from the police station & fire stations (we don't mind this very much, but maybe not best for people looking for a quiet space) - The management company, while responsive has SO MUCH attitude, it is so frustrating; they treat us like we're the enemy when we're all just trying to maintain this building to the best of our ability
No working heat or garbage
Pros
The neighbors are very nice. Close to subways
Cons
Heat doesn’t work and there is no garbage maitenance. Management ignores you and won’t resolve any issues
