Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Mitchell Grossman indicate significant concerns regarding management responsiveness and maintenance. Although residents appreciate the spacious apartments and prime locations, many report persistent issues like poor heating, unsatisfactory cleanliness, pest problems, and lost packages. The landlord's slow communication and handling of repairs have been noted as particularly frustrating. While some tenants recommend the buildings for their affordability and space, the general consensus urges potential renters to consider the management inefficiencies. Improvements in maintenance and tenant relations could enhance the living experience significantly.

Beautiful Apartment in a Great Location

Pros

Large apartment, crown molding, insane location, elevator. Super is amazing

Cons

Not very clean, extremely noisy. No luck going to bed early on Friday or Saturday

Would not recommend

Pros

Good location, apartment was well priced until 2026 lease renewal when landlords raised rent by $1250

Cons

Neighbor steels packages and landlord has not done anything about it despite multiple reports with photo and video evidence, month without heat in winter of 2026 where temperatures dropped below 40 degrees in the apartment, more than 20 days without consistent hot water. Super is kind but slow to fulfill maintenance requests.
