Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Eleanor Patrick reveals a mixed management reputation. Positive notes include friendly neighbors, responsive superintendents, and some well-maintained amenities like laundry facilities and elevators. However, recurring concerns revolve around poor garbage management, persistent pest infestations (rats and roaches), inadequate heating, and slow or ineffective maintenance responses. Several renters highlight issues with cleanliness, noisy or disruptive neighbors, broken security systems, and building deterioration. While some tenants appreciate the community feel and location benefits, many express frustration with management's apathy toward long-term fixes and tenant communication. Prospective renters should expect variable experiences depending on the building and unit.

Pros

Neighbors are nice, most have lived here a while. Elevator in building. There is a tenants association which has helped the building get regular cleaning each week

Cons

The trash in the trash section outside builds up a lot. This leads to a lot of rats in the trash. There are cockroaches in the building even though a service comes to spray each month, they leave so quickly if you don’t answer the door right away.

Advice to the owners

Fix the trash issue and rats

Pros

Live in super is very nice and helpful. Neighbors are friendly and elevator in building.

Cons

Heating in winter was poor, management was poor at responding to concerns. Possibly heard rodents in walls.

Advice to the owners

Be more attentive towards tenants please.
