Pros
- Super centrally located, close to most Manhattan transit lines, can’t beat it - building itself is clean with decent amenities - Individual apartments vary a lot in how they look but most are perfectly fine - neighbor noise is minimal to none - packages room very helpful
Cons
- loud loud loud. Especially any south facing apartments, the building is right on the intersection and the street noise echoes off the buildings and into your apartment - also for south facing apartments: the Barclays building is across the street and they have a large LED billboard that stays on all night, and flashes through different patterns. Would recommend blackout curtains. - some staff are friendly, others are just ok. - crazy dry in the winter, humid in the summer - most of the building is short term rental
