Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Stuart Goldstein reveal a mixed management profile. Positive notes include responsive and helpful superintendents who often live on-site, contributing to quicker repairs, and generally quiet, friendly neighbors in some buildings. However, repeated issues include unaddressed package theft, frequent elevator breakdowns, pest infestations (cockroaches, rodents, bedbugs), mold problems, and poor heating and water pressure in several properties. Communication with management is often slow or unprofessional, and many tenants report neglect in building maintenance, leaks, and safety concerns like broken locks and drug use in common areas. Overall, expect inconsistent responsiveness and ongoing infrastructure challenges.

Lived for a year, good building

Pros

Nice building Superintendent was very nice and chill and would take care of any issues Apartment was in a good state and kept in good condition Had a good negotiation back in pandemic

Cons

Elevator sometimes would get stuck Packages in lobby get stolen sometimes Management company is a bit bad with their paperwork and kinda rude When I lived there, sometimes there would be a couple with DV problems sadly on the lower floor and cops would be there sometimes.
